The keys are gradually weighted using a hammer action, just like on a grand piano. This means, that the lower end notes are heavier, gradually progressing to the higher end of the keyboard where the notes will be lighter. Every key has three sensors, allowing you to play notes in quick succession and enabling a sound to be produced repeatedly, even when the key has not fully returned to its resting position. This allows for much better expression.
Finger slippage is minimised by the minutely crimped surface, so you can play with accuracy even for extended periods.
The slim-line modern cabinet incorporates a sliding key cover that protects the keys when the piano is not in use. The design of this piano will suit any space and the colour options of black or white will match any style of home decor. It feels like a solid piece of furniture due to the wooden stand and pedal board.
The damper pedal creates a deep resonance, and evenly reproduces the subtle changes in reverberation tha occur when the pedal responds to partial pressure.
There is a lesson feature using 60 built in songs, and the record function makes this a useful digital piano for beginners and advanced players. The metronome, layer/split function and USB connectivity are useful functions.
If you've ever wanted to be accompanied by a full orchestra, the PX760 lets you play along with 10 live performances of popular classics. There is a lesson function for these 10 classics so that you can learn the right hand and left hand parts.
